Atlanta based photographer.
To be a creative is to use your being as a witness. I spend my whole life observing what the world has to offer, then constructing my own response. One of the first creative moments I remember was insisting on being an author and illustrator for children’s books at the age of five. I remember using technically improper colors for objects like leaves, using blue instead of green, to express my vision. Consequently, this mismatched way of thinking would pave the way to future art projects being shown at regional levels.
Later in life I fell in love with cameras as my medium of expression. Originally as a videographer I had the opportunities to shoot commercials, weddings, and numerous short films. A number of my films would go on to win competitions and some shown to film classes throughout the state. After some time my passion for photography grew considerably. Videography allows viewers to stop time and immerse themselves in what they’re seeing to just experience. This is the concept I wanted to bring to photography.
My current mission through photography is using photos to capture an experience to allow others to witness.
